XLNT Recruits van der Moolen to CyberHoist Team 21 october 2010

Utrecht, Netherlands, October 2010 - Ahead of the LDI 2010 show in Las Vegas, XLNT Advanced Technologies has announced the appointment of leading entertainment rigging specialist Hans van der Moolen as Motion Products Consultant.

Van der Moolen was closely involved in the Research & Development process leading to the launch of XLNT's CyberHoist range and has extensive experience in the rigging market with Stagemaker.

Hans comments: "When I was invited to join XLNT I had already taken the decision to move away from frontline sales and move more into product and brand development consultancy. As I had been familiar with CyberHoist and the whole XLNT team for many years, and they were looking for someone with experience of product development and setting up distribution networks for their motion control business, it was a perfect match.

"I see a great future at XLNT with a talented and energetic team developing a number of tremendous products. Combined with a growing distribution and sales network XLNT will do extremely good business in the motion control market - and I'm very happy to be able to help them realize their ambitious goals."
XLNT commercial director Marc van der Wel added: "We are delighted that a man of Hans's talents, experience and contacts has joined us. It brings new top-level strength to our motion products team and will help us grow the brand worldwide."
Hans van der Moolen will join Aart Gigengack, Joeri Swagemakers and Marc van der Wel on the XLNT Advanced Technologies booth #600 at LDI 2010

The XLNT DS8 Series: a whole new move in motor control 10 september 2009 The XLNT DS8 Pro and Pro Plus Series brings something completely new to the entertainment rigging motor controller market - a unique combination of solid state reliability, versatility and affordability.

Its development was a direct response to the growing needs of XLNT's rental customers, as XLNT Advanced Technologies service & support manager Aart Gigengack explains. "The main reason that we began the DS8 development project was the fact that many of our rental customers, who wanted to improve the flexibility and reliability of their standard hoist motor controllers, found it was impossible to get an better quality alternative to the usual products without spending a lot of money on custom-built products. They wanted a well built, high quality, safe, well-priced controller, so that is exactly what we designed."
He adds: "There are many controllers out on the market that are either very cheap but with poor build quality and minimal safety features - or there are very expensive controllers that are custom-built for companies who demand quality, safety and durability. "We have developed a high end controller, with a smart, easy to use design and extra safety features, that is fully compliant, fully featured and built to last, for a medium price. It's a controller for professionals, for daily use."
